Paul O'Neill came to
the Yankees in 1993, and helped turn the Yankees from pretenders
to contenders. In the strike shorten season of 1994, Paul
O'Neill won the AL Batting title. In 1996 he lead the New
York Yankees to their first World Series win since 1978.
In
nine seasons with the Yankees, Paul O'Neill helped turn around a
fledgling Yankees team into the dynasty it is today. An
amazing outfielder known for his fiery attitude, O'Neill retired
in 2001 with four World Series titles with the Yankees. |
