Dale Murphy spent 15 of his 18
years in the majors playing for Atlanta and will always be
remembered as a Brave. Dale led the NL in RBIs 3 times and
home runs
twice. Murphy was a 2-time MVP (1982-83) with Atlanta before
going onto play for Philadelphia, retiring in 1993 with the
Colorado Rockies. Dale carried a career batting average of .265
with 398 home runs and 1,266 RBI.
