The great Brooks Robinson held
down the hot corner for almost 20 years in Baltimore.
Robinson
led the American
League in fielding 12 times from 1960-72. Brooks was named the
AL MVP in 1964 and the World Series MVP in 1970. Robinson
finished his career with 16 Gold Glove Awards, a .267 lifetime
batting average, and was named to the Baseball Hall of Fame in
1983. |
